It is important to find a practitioner who is a good therapeutic fit. My job as an acupuncturist is to facilitate change in the body to make it more comfortable. One thing we all have in common are these amazing, and somewhat troublesome, human
bodies. We have all experienced a physical ailment that has limited our ability to enjoy life — be it fleeting or chronic. The overall goal of acupuncture is to enable the body to eliminate ailments.
Kelly Sandberg is a licensed acupuncturist with a masters degree in Oriental Medicine. In 1997 her studies took her to China to observe and practice in a hospital of integrated medicine — a blend of ancient and modern medicine. She has been practicing in Alaska since 1998. She lives in Anchorage because of the accessibility to mountains and trails and because of the nature of
the people who also call it home; we are an active, diverse and personable bunch. Her family enjoys skiing, travel and socializing. Her clinic is an easily accessible private practice in space shared with Studio One Pilates. In her many years of practice, Kelly has had the opportunity to work with a multitude of health complaints and has special interests in sport injuries, fertility and maternity care.
